Black History Celebration

In celebration of Black History Month, we are heading over to the Equality Community Center (15 Casco St., Portland) for Fourth Friday to spend some time with our friends at In the Pocket podcast. In the P.O.C.ket: Conversations with BIPOC Mainers comes to life every Fourth Friday by taking conversations offline and bringing community together in-person. Flo Edwards, In the P.O.C.ket (ITP) Founder, will give us a brief update on what’s next for the podcast and share the common themes she sees from interviewing changemakers around the state.

We invite individuals from the BIPOC community and their guests to join us for the celebration. DJ Graphic Melee will be setting the vibe with music selections that will be sure to keep you on your feet. Win prizes throughout the evening while testing your Black History knowledge. Free food and drinks.

Registration is required. Be sure to sign up. Attendance is limited to 50.
