SHIFT Maine - BIPOC Educators (k-12) Network

Join us ONLINE for a follow-up to Identifying Opportunities & Setting Priorities: A Meetup for BIPOC Educators held on October 12th in Lewiston.

At this meetup, we will share the information that was shared and collect feedback for the preliminary 2024 BIPOC Educator Action Plan. BIPOC educators throughout the state are encouraged to attend. ****Zoom Link Will BE SENT SEPERATELY****

This online meetup allows BIPOC educators to come together to share experiences, ideas, and strategies in a fun, social format. You will hear updates on projects from educational leaders and education policy from local and state elected officials.

You should attend if you are a BIPOC educator (including Ed Techs, administrators, homeschooling parents, private school educators, aspiring educators, tutors, experts in education, leaders of programs with an educational focus, etc. ). This is the perfect opportunity to network, collaborate, and learn from each other. Together, we will explore ways to identify opportunities and set priorities to improve Maine's educational environments with an eye towards supporting students and educators of color.

Don't miss out on this empowering event! Mark your calendars and get ready for an inspiring evening of growth and community. Let's build a stronger network of BIPOC educators and create positive change that will benefit communities throughout Maine.

T his program is made possible by the Elmina B. Sewall Foundation and Maine Initiatives.
